Sungkonghoe University in Seoul, Korea, launched the first PhD/Master program for cooperative management in Korea. The Graduate Cooperative Management program has produced more than 70 research papers in the well-known journals since 2010. The program’s close working relationship with cooperative movement in Korea enables students and practitioners to get the first-hand knowledge of cooperatives.

The editors of the book (Yoon Kyu Park, Sang Hoon Lee, Seungkwon Jang, Woo-Suk Choi, Sangsun Park, Sang-Youn Lee) are all professors of the Department of Management of Cooperatives, Graduate School & Cooperative MBA, Graduate School of Social Economy in Sungkonghoe University. And most authors of the book are professors, researchers, and post-graduate students of the Department.
