Monsieur de Fourceaugnac was created by Jean-Baptiste Poquelin dit Moliere from the origins of the comedy ballet first represented in Orleans at Chambord Castle for the hospitality of King Louis XIV of France. It is a French play written. It was first shown in Paris on 6 October 1669 and 15 November 16691 at the Theater du Palais-Royal.
