The Blunderer (or The Counterplots - L'Etourdi ou les Contretemps in French), also known in English as The Bungler, is a five-act theatrical comedy by French playwright Moliere. After its premiere in Lyon in 1655, it was first performed at the Petit Bourbon Theater in Paris in November 1658.
The plot begins with a servant's plan to help a wealthy employer win the affection of a poor young woman.
