One day in the middle of summer, I suddenly looked up at the stars in the night sky. If you look up in the northern sky, you will see the seven stars that make up The Big Dipper, which is quite familiar to everyone. If you take a wider look, you will see a large constellation of a bear around the big dipper, called Ursa Major.
This story of ¡¶Tiny with the Brown Bear¡· was one born from that constellation. With the relationship of Mary and Tiny, and James the Brown Bear who warmly protected them, the theme of true love and friendship is captured in this story. It talks about the maternal love of Mary for Tiny. And Tiny¡¯s love for her mom. And their love for their friends and neighbors. It also depicts the heartfelt friendship of Tiny with the other baby foxes and their neighbors, and the three Brown bears. All the animals and plants of the forest, the beauty of nature, and the passing of all the four seasons, helped tell the story harmoniously. The most important theme of the story ¡°Tiny with the Brown Bear¡± is of course, love. As I look at the sky, I write the last sentences of this book hoping that the message I¡¯ve always wanted to convey will be told in these pages. A warm and beautiful story of love for the children who will be taking their first steps into reading, like the Great Bear constellation that brightens the night sky. Thank you very much to everyone who read this book to the last page.
On an April evening, just as the warm spring rain stopped,
Jenny.
