Summary
This book tells the story of Neil Arnott, a young Scotsman who sets out on a voyage to the North Pole in search of adventure and fortune. He joins a crew of experienced walrus hunters led by Captain Ellice. Venturing out into the cold and treacherous waters, they face a variety of challenges and dangers, including encounters with polar bears, storms, and the harsh conditions of the arctic environment.
