"Dutch Courage and Other Stories"는 1922년에 출판된 런던의 단편 소설 모음집이다.
존 그리피스 채니 ( John Griffith Chaney)는 잭 런던(Jack London )으로 더 잘 알려져 있으며, 미국의 소설가, 언론인, 운동가다. 상업 소설과 미국 잡지의 선구자였던 그는 국제적인 유명 인사가 되고 글을 써서 큰 부를 얻은 최초의 미국 작가 중 한 명이다. 그는 또한 나중에 SF 로 알려진 장르의 혁신가였다.

John Griffith Chaney, better known as Jack London, was an American novelist, journalist, and activist. A pioneer of commercial fiction and American magazines, he became an international celebrity and was one of the first American writers to achieve great fortune by writing. He was also an innovator in the genre later known as science fiction.
His most famous works include The Call of the Wild and White Fang, set in Alaska and Yukon during the Klondike Gold Rush, and the short stories "To Build a Fire", "An Odyssey of the North", and "An Odyssey of the North". " etc.
