Summary
Dara is a world quarantined by the Galactic Federation, where the plague is a highly contagious and fatal disease with no known cure. Carson is the only human to set foot on Dara since the outbreak of the epidemic.
Carson soon discovers that the plague is not what it seems. This is actually a bioweapon created by the planet's native inhabitants, the Daranites. The Daranites are a peaceful people who were forced to create bioweapons for self-defense against the Galactic Federation.
Carson must find a way to stop the epidemic and prevent it from spreading to other planets. He must also find a way to convince the Galactic Federation to lift quarantine and allow the Dharan people to rejoin the galactic community...
