머레이 레인스터(Murray Leinster)가 쓴 SF 소설 《This World Is Taboo》로 Fantastic Universe 잡지의 1963년 8월호에 처음 출판되었다.
이야기는 Dara라는 행성에 관한 것으로, 다라는 성간 의료 서비스(Interstellar Medical Service)에 의해 격리된 행성이다. 누구도 Dara에 착륙하는 것이 허용되지 않으며 누구도 Dara에서 오는 것이 허용되지 않는다.

Summary
The story deals with the adventures of a young doctor named Calhoun. Calhoun is sent to Dara to investigate a mysterious epidemic. Calhoun soon discovers that the epidemic is caused by Dara's own virus.
Calhoun must find a way to stop the plague, but he must understand the taboo surrounding Dara. The people of Dara believe that the planet is cursed, and they fear what will happen if anyone tries to break the taboo. Calhoun must find a way to stop the epidemic without breaking the taboo.
