This World Is Taboo is a science fiction novel written by Murray Leinster and first published in the August 1963 issue of Fantastic Universe magazine.
The story is about a planet called Dara, which is quarantined by the Interstellar Medical Service. No one is allowed to land in Dara and no one is allowed to come from Dara.

Summary
The story deals with the adventures of a young doctor named Calhoun. Calhoun is sent to Dara to investigate a mysterious epidemic. Calhoun soon discovers that the epidemic is caused by Dara's own virus.
Calhoun must find a way to stop the plague, but he must understand the taboo surrounding Dara. The people of Dara believe that the planet is cursed, and they fear what will happen if anyone tries to break the taboo. Calhoun must find a way to stop the epidemic without breaking the taboo.
