The Wheat Princess is a 1905 novel by Jean Webster. It is a romance novel set in recently unified Italy in the late 19th century. It is full of romance, danger, and issues of wealth and poverty.
The Mill Princess is a charming and heartwarming love story, but it is also a coming-of-age story of a young woman learning to find her place in the world. The novel is also a commentary on social and economic inequality in late 19th century Italy.
