Summary
At the secluded Bligh estate, a young governess arrives to look after two orphans, Miles and Flora. The governess is initially enchanted by the children's innocence and beauty, but soon becomes suspicious that they are being influenced by malevolent forces.
As she delves deeper into Bly's history, she learns of the tragic deaths of two former employees, a governess and a valet, who were involved with her children. She also begins seeing ghosts of a man and a woman, which she believes are the ghosts of dead employees.
The governess is convinced that ghosts are trying to possess the children and she takes it upon herself to protect them from their evil influence...
