서울대학교 언어교육원이 개발한 단기 연수용(약 60시간) 한국어 교재 시리즈 중 첫 번째 단계인 『사랑해요 한국어 1 Workbook』은 부교재로서 주 교재에서 학습한 내용의 연습 및 복습을 위해 개발되었다. </br></br>『I Love Korean 1 Workbook』 is the first step in the series of short-term (about 60 hours) Korean training textbooks developed by the Seoul National University Language Education Center and was developed as an supplemental textbook for practice and review of the contents learned in the main textbook.

정부공인 어학능력 측정기관인 서울대학교 언어교육원은 1963년 서울대학교 동숭동 캠퍼스에서 어학연구소로 발족하여 2001년 언어교육원으로 승격되었다. 그동안 세계인을 위한 한국어 교육기관, 서울대인을 위한 외국어 교육기관, 국가공인 언어능력 측정기관, 그리고 한국을 대표하는 언어학 학술지 「어학연구」의 발행 기관으로서 서울대학교와 대한민국의 국제화에 중요한 역할을 담당해 왔다.
