He was a professor at North Texas State University and California State University and worked as an art director and company president in Los Angeles. He conducts various design consulting projects for local consumers in the US, Korea, and China. He conducted special lectures and workshops at various organizations overseas with design methodologies such as 'DBL Education,' 'Design Conceptor,' 'Hangeul-Gak,' and 'Culture Code Brand Design.'
