『The story of korea』는 1911년에 서양인이 발간한 한국 역사책으로 일본에 영국 영사관으로 한국에 관한 많은 기초자료를 수집해 만든 것이다. 우리나라 고대부터 일제 강점기 때까지 역사를(33장 삽화와 지도 3장) 상세히 기술한 책으로 상고사에서 근대에 역사의 흐름을 파악하는 데 많은 도움을 주는 역사교양서이다.
