두리틀 선생님은 동물을 사랑해요. 동물을 너무 사랑한 나머지 동물에게 말하는 법을 알게돼요! 두리틀 선생님은 아프리카에 가서 동물을 돕는 일을 하게 돼요. 그 곳에서 선생님은 위험한 부족 사람들과 이상하면서도 멋진Pushmi-Pullyu라는 동물을 만나게 돼요.

Dr. Dolittle loves animals. In fact, he loves them so much that he learns to talk to them! Then Dr. Dolittle is called to Africa to help some animals there. During his African adventures, the good doctor encounters a dangerous tribe of men and the strange and wonderful pushmi-pullyu.
