Oliver Twist is a young orphan forced to live in a workhouse. He decides to escape to London. There, hungry and tired, he meets a boy who promises him food and shelter. Oliver stays with boy and his gang, only to find out later that they are thieves. He tries to run away, but is arrested as a thief himself!
