아버지와 아들이 당나귀를 데리고 길을 가고 있어요. 지나가는 사람마다 한 마디씩 조언을 해서 아버지와 아들은 번갈아 당나귀를 탔다가, 둘 다 탔다가 결국은 당나귀를 메고 가다가 당나귀를 잃어버립니다. 아버지는 뒤늦게 모든 사람의 말을 다 들으려고 하면 안 된다는 사실을 깨닫게 됩니다.
