어느 날 공주는 황금 공을 연못에 빠뜨려요. 연못 가에 살고 있던 개구리가 친구가 되어 주면 황금 공을 건져 주겠다고 해요. 친구가 되겠다고 약속을 하고 공을 되찾지만 공주는 약속을 지킬 생각이 없어요. 하지만 왕의 명령으로 할 수 없이 같이 밥도 먹고 잠도 자요. 그런데 알고 보니 이 개구리는 마법에 걸린 왕자님이었어요!
