흰곰과 살게 된 니나는 곰이 밤에 남자가 되는 것을 알게 되고, 그 남자는 왕자라는 사실을 알게 돼요. 그러나 니나가 그 사실을 알게 되어 왕자는 못생긴 공주와 결혼을 해야 해요. 왕자를 찾아 떠난 니나는 두 명의 노파에게 황금사과와 황금빗, 그리고 말을 받아 왕자를 찾아 못생긴 공주가 살고 있는 해님의 동쪽과 달님의 서쪽 성으로 갔어요. 못생긴 공주에게 황금사과와 황금빗을 주고, 니나와 왕자는 둘이 행복하게 살게 되었어요.
