Wise & Wide는 렉사일 지수(Lexile® measures)를 기준으로 각 단계를 체계적으로 나눈, 총 60권 구성의 6단계 영어 독서 프로그램이다. 렉사일 지수는 미국 정규 공교육 과정과 여러 영어 프로그램에서 가장 많이 사용되는 영어 독서 지수로 미국 50개 주 가운데 21개 주에서 렉사일 지수를 학기말 시험(End of Grade) 성적표에 직접 표시하며, 세계적으로 저명한 300개 이상의 출판사들이 렉사일 지수를 채택하여 사용하고 있기도 하다.
