The poems of Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell are their first and a collection of poems jointly published in 1846 by Bronte's three sisters, Charlotte, Emily and Anne. To avoid the prejudice of the time against female writers, the Bronte sisters adopted masculine names. This collection of poems was not a great success, but it was an opportunity to focus on writing novels.
