"Green Tea" is J. Sheridan Le Fanu's most popular and well-known supernatural novel, published in 1869.
Joseph Thomas Sheridan Le Fanu is an Irish author of gothic tales and mystery novels. He was the foremost ghost story writer of the 19th century and played a central role in the development of the Victorian era genre. M.R. James described Le Fanu as "absolutely first-rate as a ghost story writer". His three best known works are Uncle Silas, Carmilla and The House by the Churchyard.
