The poet writes poetry himself because he usually thinks, feels, experiences, and draws his own expression based on the wish and confesses his inner world.
The Book of Odes of Confucius(BC 552~479) says, “If you do not study the poetry ‘불학시무이언不學詩無以言, you can not speak wisely.”

The Book of Odes deals with, “When you read three hundred poems of ‘시삼백사무나詩三百思無那’, evil thoughts disappear in your mind.” Therefore, poetry creation is the meaning of life and the instinct of survival poets.

I recalled the daily life that I had experienced while living my life, and selected 50 poems such as lyric poetry, prose poetry, satirical poetry, and participatory poetry on the theme of life in nature and life.
I mainly write essay, novels, travels, and literary criticism including poetry.

In the future I will try to select Korean and English works by selecting various genres such as essay novel travel literary criticism as well as Korean and English poetry.
I would like to thank all the people who gave me moral and material support.

시인은 평소 생각하고 느끼고 체험하고 바람을 기본으로 자신의 표정을 그리며 자기 자신의 내면세계를 고백하므로 시인이 쓴 시는 곧 자신이다.
공자(孔子, BC 552~ 479)의 시경에 ‘불학시무이언不學詩無以言‘시를 공부하지 않으면 지혜로운 말을 할 수가 없다.’라고 말한다.
’시삼백사무나詩三百思無那‘ 시를 삼백 편 읽으면 마음속에 사악한 생각이 사라진다.’라고 시경에서 논하고 있다. 그러므로 시인에게 시 창작은 삶의 의미이며 생존의 본능이다.
그동안 인생을 살아오며 겪었던 일상을 회상하면서 자연과 인생의 삶을 주제로 쓴 서정시, 산문시, 풍자시, 참여시 등 50편을 선정해 한·영 시집을 발간하게 되었다.
필자는 시를 포함해 주로 수필, 소설, 여행, 문학평론 작품을 쓰고 있다.
앞으로 한·영 시집뿐만 아니라 수필, 소설, 여행, 문학평론 등 다양한 장르를 선정해서 한·영 작품집이 나오도록 노력하겠다.
