Reading Science Fiction Novels in English _ The space visitors by Edmond Hamilton
This book is a science fiction novel published in the March issue of Air Wonder Stories in 1930 by Edmond Hamilton.
Edmond Hamilton was one of the major American science fiction writers of the early and mid-20th century. Born in 1904 and died in 1977, he is considered a pioneer of the 'space opera'. Hamilton began writing in 1926 and became famous for the 'Captain Future' series. His works covered a variety of science fiction themes, including space adventures, time travel, and encounters with extraterrestrial life forms. He also contributed to the 'Superman' and 'Batman' series for DC Comics. Hamilton's imaginative stories had a great influence on later science fiction writers.

Summary
Because Dr. Howard has asked me to prepare a concise account of the coming of the space-visitors, I, Stanley Ransome, have tried to write a simple record of my own contacts with them. Such a record will necessarily have errors enough; but it seems to me that the facts can be most clearly presented in such a fashion.
It was late in June that I first learned of the affair, through Dr. Howard himself. Dr. Jason Howard was holder of the chair of Aeronautical Science in Gotham University, and his contributions to the progress of aerial navigation had made him renowned in both scientific and commercial circles.
